The 2024 Survey on Gambling in the ACT
The 2024 Survey on Gambling in the ACT aims to provide an up-to-date understanding of gambling activities and their impacts in the Australian Capital Territory. Specifically, the project seeks to:
Gather current information about gambling activity, problem gambling, gambling-related harm, and help-seeking behaviours in the ACT.
Assist the ACT Gambling and Racing Commission in monitoring the social and economic impacts of gambling in the territory.
Provide data, analyses, and insights to inform the Commission's initiatives and broader approach to preventing and reducing gambling-related harm.
Compare findings with previous surveys (such as the 2019 ACT Gambling Survey) to identify trends and changes in gambling behaviours and impacts over time.
Contribute to the development of evidence-based policies and programs aimed at promoting responsible gambling and minimising gambling-related harm in the ACT community.
By participating in this survey, you're helping to build a comprehensive picture of gambling in the ACT, which will inform efforts to create a safer and healthier gambling environment for all residents.
